Q-394 BUNA 70 Q RING

APG stocks the QH70394, an AS568-394 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 24.94 in (633.48 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 25.36 in (644.14 mm). A quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) offers strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material holds up against greases and lubricants, hydraulic fluids, and water. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Verify compatibility before use with ozone and direct sunlight or polar solvents. The profile itself contributes resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings and lower compressive load required to achieve a seal.
