Product Specification

-
APG stocks the QV70460, an AS568-460 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 15.475 in (393.07 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.025 in (407.04 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). The profile itself contributes a parting line located away from the sealing surface and lower compressive load required to achieve a seal.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across oil and gas, automotive fuel systems, and semiconductor equipment.

This item is sold individually under part number QV70460. Check the compound against your process media, pressure and temperature before committing to a design. APG supports cross-referencing from drawings, samples and competitor numbers when a listed size is not an exact fit.
