Ordered as QV70466, this is an AS568-466 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 18.455 in (468.76 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 19.005 in (482.73 mm). The quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is known for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
