Q-469 BUNA 70 Q RING

APG stocks the QH70469, an AS568-469 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 19.955 in (506.86 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 20.505 in (520.83 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Expect good resistance to propane and butane, many alcohols, and hydraulic fluids. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to automotive brake fluid or ketones will shorten service life. The profile itself contributes two sealing bands per contact face rather than one and lower compressive load required to achieve a seal.

It sees regular use in automotive, general industrial maintenance, and construction equipment.
