This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-470 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A with an inside diameter of 20.955 in (532.26 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 21.505 in (546.23 mm), catalogued under part number QV70470. It resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments.
