Q-020 BUNA 70 Q RING

Ordered as QH70020, this is an AS568-020 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.864 in (21.95 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.004 in (25.5 mm). The quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. This material stands up to many alcohols, water, and petroleum-based oils. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to automotive brake fluid or strong acids will shorten service life.
