QH70024 is an AS568-024 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.114 in (28.3 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.254 in (31.85 mm). In service, this quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Expect good resistance to petroleum-based oils, propane and butane, and many alcohols. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving automotive brake fluid or strong acids call for a different compound.
