Q-107 BUNA 70 Q RING

APG stocks the QH70107, an AS568-107 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.206 in (5.23 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.412 in (10.46 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Expect good resistance to hydraulic fluids, many alcohols, and propane and butane. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where polar solvents or strong acids are present. The profile itself contributes lower compressive load required to achieve a seal and resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings.
