The QH70122 is an AS568-122 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.112 in (28.24 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.318 in (33.48 mm). This quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

It resists propane and butane, many alcohols, and hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) offers strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or automotive brake fluid are present.
