APG stocks the QH70128, an AS568-128 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.487 in (37.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.693 in (43 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) offers reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, low compression set under sustained load. It resists propane and butane, greases and lubricants, and many alcohols. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving strong acids or polar solvents call for a different compound.
