Q-159 BUNA 70 Q RING

The QH70159 is an AS568-159 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.987 in (126.67 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.193 in (131.9 mm). This quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

The compound resists many alcohols, propane and butane, and greases and lubricants. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, low compression set under sustained load. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Verify compatibility before use with automotive brake fluid or ketones. The profile itself contributes two sealing bands per contact face rather than one and a parting line located away from the sealing surface.

Typical settings include hydraulic and pneumatic systems, general industrial maintenance, and agricultural equipment.

Stocked as QH70159 and sold individually. Unit weight is approximately 2.6509 g and nominal inside diameter is listed as 5 inch. Check the compound against your process media, pressure and temperature before committing to a design. APG supports cross-referencing from drawings, samples and competitor numbers when a listed size is not an exact fit.
