Q-161 BUNA 70 Q RING

The QH70161 is an AS568-161 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.487 in (139.37 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.693 in (144.6 mm). This quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. This material stands up to water, propane and butane, and hydraulic fluids. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where polar solvents or ozone and direct sunlight are present.
