Q-216 BUNA 70 Q RING

QH70216 is an AS568-216 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.109 in (28.17 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.387 in (35.23 mm). In service, this quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

This material stands up to propane and butane, water, and petroleum-based oils. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for strong abrasion and tear resistance, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in automotive brake fluid or strong acids.
