The QH70249 is an AS568-249 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.859 in (123.42 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.137 in (130.48 mm). This quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Expect good resistance to water, greases and lubricants, and petroleum-based oils. Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving ozone and direct sunlight or polar solvents call for a different compound.
