QH70271 is an AS568-271 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 9.234 in (234.54 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.512 in (241.6 mm). In service, this quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

The material holds up against water, petroleum-based oils, and greases and lubricants. Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, low compression set under sustained load. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where automotive brake fluid or ozone and direct sunlight are present.
