Ordered as QH70316, this is an AS568-316 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.85 in (21.59 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.27 in (32.26 mm). The quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

The material holds up against hydraulic fluids, petroleum-based oils, and water. Buna-N (Nitrile) offers low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or strong acids.
