QH70372 is an AS568-372 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 8.725 in (221.62 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.145 in (232.28 mm). In service, this quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The compound resists water, greases and lubricants, and propane and butane. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service.
