Q-446 BUNA 70 Q RING

APG stocks the QH70446, an AS568-446 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 8.475 in (215.27 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.025 in (229.24 mm). A quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

The compound resists many alcohols, propane and butane, and petroleum-based oils. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) offers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong acids or automotive brake fluid. The profile itself contributes a parting line located away from the sealing surface and two sealing bands per contact face rather than one.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across automotive, agricultural equipment, and construction equipment.
