Q-448 BUNA 70 Q RING

The QH70448 is an AS568-448 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 9.475 in (240.67 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.025 in (254.64 mm). This quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for strong abrasion and tear resistance, most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. This material stands up to petroleum-based oils, water, and many alcohols. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or polar solvents are present.
