QH70452 is an AS568-452 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 11.475 in (291.47 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.025 in (305.44 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. The material holds up against petroleum-based oils, greases and lubricants, and many alcohols. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or strong acids are present. The profile itself contributes a parting line located away from the sealing surface and lower compressive load required to achieve a seal.
