Part number QH70464 is an AS568-464 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 17.455 in (443.36 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 18.005 in (457.33 mm). A quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Expect good resistance to propane and butane, many alcohols, and water. Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving polar solvents or ozone and direct sunlight call for a different compound.
