Part number QV70012 is an AS568-012 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.364 in (9.25 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.504 in (12.8 mm). A quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or ketones and esters will shorten service life. The profile itself contributes lower compressive load required to achieve a seal and resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings.
