Q-014 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

The QV70014 is an AS568-014 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.489 in (12.42 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.629 in (15.98 mm). This quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. This material stands up to many acids, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters will shorten service life. The profile itself contributes two sealing bands per contact face rather than one and a parting line located away from the sealing surface.

Typical settings include aerospace, semiconductor equipment, and chemical processing.
