Ordered as QV70017, this is an AS568-017 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.676 in (17.17 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.816 in (20.73 mm). The quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and aggressive chemicals. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
