Q-018 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

Ordered as QV70018, this is an AS568-018 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.739 in (18.77 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.879 in (22.33 mm). The quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or hot water and steam.
