This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-022 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile supplied with an inside diameter of 0.989 in (25.12 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.129 in (28.68 mm), catalogued under part number QV70022. It delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

It resists engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents.
