Part number QV70027 is an AS568-027 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.301 in (33.05 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.441 in (36.6 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

It resists aggressive chemicals, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) is valued for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to amines or ketones and esters will shorten service life. The profile itself contributes lower compressive load required to achieve a seal and resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings.
