**Q-038 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

QV70038 is an AS568-038 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.614 in (66.4 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.754 in (69.95 mm). In service, this quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or ketones and esters. The profile itself contributes resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings and a parting line located away from the sealing surface.

Typical settings include chemical processing, semiconductor equipment, and oil and gas.
