Q-114 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-114 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 0.612 in (15.54 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.818 in (20.78 mm), catalogued under part number QV70114. It delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in amines or ketones and esters. The profile itself contributes two sealing bands per contact face rather than one and resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings.
