Q-117 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

APG stocks the QV70117, an AS568-117 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.799 in (20.29 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.005 in (25.53 mm). A quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

The compound resists many acids, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to ketones and esters or amines will shorten service life. The profile itself contributes lower compressive load required to achieve a seal and resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings.
