Ordered as QV70121, this is an AS568-121 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.049 in (26.64 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.255 in (31.88 mm). The quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to ketones and esters or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
