APG stocks the QV70122, an AS568-122 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.112 in (28.24 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.318 in (33.48 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or hot water and steam call for a different compound.

Typical settings include oil and gas, high-temperature process equipment, and automotive fuel systems.
