Part number QV70127 is an AS568-127 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.424 in (36.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.63 in (41.4 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
