Q-141 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

Part number QV70141 is an AS568-141 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.3 in (58.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.506 in (63.65 mm). A quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). The profile itself contributes a parting line located away from the sealing surface and resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings.
