The QV70143 is an AS568-143 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.425 in (61.6 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.631 in (66.83 mm). This quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. It resists engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines will shorten service life.
