APG stocks the QV70145, an AS568-145 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.55 in (64.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.756 in (70 mm). A quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or amines are present. The profile itself contributes a parting line located away from the sealing surface and resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings.
