Q-149 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

The QV70149 is an AS568-149 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.8 in (71.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.006 in (76.35 mm). This quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
