Ordered as QV70151, this is an AS568-151 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.987 in (75.87 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.193 in (81.1 mm). The quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or amines are present. The profile itself contributes a parting line located away from the sealing surface and lower compressive load required to achieve a seal.
