This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-163 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 5.987 in (152.07 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.193 in (157.3 mm), catalogued under part number QV70163. It provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). The profile itself contributes two sealing bands per contact face rather than one and a parting line located away from the sealing surface.
