Ordered as QV70213, this is an AS568-213 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.921 in (23.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.199 in (30.45 mm). The quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

This material stands up to aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
