Ordered as QV70214, this is an AS568-214 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.984 in (24.99 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.262 in (32.05 mm). The quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or amines will shorten service life.
