Q-221 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

Ordered as QV70221, this is an AS568-221 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.421 in (36.09 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.699 in (43.15 mm). The quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
