The QV70227 is an AS568-227 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.109 in (53.57 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.387 in (60.63 mm). This quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
