Q-234 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

The QV70234 is an AS568-234 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.984 in (75.79 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.262 in (82.85 mm). This quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. It resists many acids, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). The profile itself contributes a parting line located away from the sealing surface and two sealing bands per contact face rather than one.
