The QV70240 is an AS568-240 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.734 in (94.84 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.012 in (101.9 mm). This quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The compound resists many acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
