QV70241 is an AS568-241 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.859 in (98.02 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.137 in (105.08 mm). In service, this quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or amines call for a different compound.
