Q-255 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

QV70255 is an AS568-255 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.609 in (142.47 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.887 in (149.53 mm). In service, this quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). The profile itself contributes resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings and a parting line located away from the sealing surface.
