Q-263 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

QV70263 is an AS568-263 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 7.234 in (183.74 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.512 in (190.8 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or amines. The profile itself contributes two sealing bands per contact face rather than one and lower compressive load required to achieve a seal.
