Q-318 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

QV70318 is an AS568-318 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.975 in (24.77 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.395 in (35.43 mm). In service, this quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. It resists aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or amines.

Typical settings include oil and gas, high-temperature process equipment, and automotive fuel systems.
