Q-325 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

QV70325 is an AS568-325 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.475 in (37.47 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.895 in (48.13 mm). In service, this quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or hot water and steam. The profile itself contributes resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings and a parting line located away from the sealing surface.
